What I Learned in English 10 Second Quarter

I learn about irony and how it can make you think that, that how it should trun out but it dosnt happened like that. Like in lamb of the Slughter insted of her getting cought she didnt they eat the edvidece. Also i learned about theme and all the steps to it. Like the theme to stroy of the catch the moon the theme was that you have to let out you grife. I also learned about ambaquid with the note and the bottle. You never find out what happenens to the person. Character is another important thing that i learn. Without character you wouldnt have a story charcter is a person that is in a play or a peom or and show.Third person is one of the other thing we learned. Ostmist is one thing too. I learned so much this quater.

Comparison Essay

Both in love and want to impress there love for there life. One of them got the girl and the other didn't. One of them was a juvenile kid and the other is a fisher kid that love to fish its his passion. In the stories "The bass, the River, and Shelia Mant" and "Catch the Moon" it shows that when in love young people tend to do things that impress the person they like.

The narrator and Sheila were having a semi relationship. He wants to be in the relationship with the girl Sheila but he battles with with catching fish and impressing the girl. He changed who he was to impress her. He could have got the biggest fish he could catch but instead he went with the girl and cut his line. So the girl at the end she left him for the man with the car. At the end he realized that he shouldn't change himself for a girl..

Luis and Noami are the two main character in the story "Catch the Moon". Luis mother had died and he didn't know how to get over the death of his mother. One day He was crying and Noami saw him crying and she drew a picture of him on top of a mountain of hubcaps. When he saw it and all of suddenly he got over the grief of his mom. He learned how to get over the grief with his mom and he learned how to love not only his self but he learned how to love other people.

Both in love and want to impress the girls of there life. So on some levels of life you shouldn't change your self for someone. An not getting over grief can really hurt you and make you a different person, but when you find that one person you really like that can change your life.

First Person Narrative
My God what is going on in here. What are you good for nothing kids doing get out of my kicten. This is my kicten you need to respect that. Why isn`t my line not moving. Who do you think you are not letting the line move whats your promble. The kids three students behind him siad move it or lose it.


Thrid Person Narrative
She stromed out the kitchen and yelled. One of the kids was holding up the line and talking to the staff. She yelled at the top of her lungs. One of the kids scared that they were hunry and wanted the person to hurry up. But the little girl didnt stop talking intill the chef came and sceamed at her.
